Role Allocation

Normally when making video you have different people that are in charge of a certain parts of the production of the video. For example you would have a director, writer, cameraperson and editor who would all put their stamp on the video. As a result the original plan for the video may change as all people involved would have a say in the production of the video. However since i am working as a individual i will be adopting the roles of director, writer, cameraman and editor as an ‘Auteur’, which is French for author. The auteur theory holds that a directors film reflects the directors personal vision and he or she can make the video whichever way they like as there are no interferences from other people.
